Puerto del Leon / Fuente de la Reina
Top 10 mountain passes you 'should not miss' when cycling in Malaga Region
It was not easy to choose 'the best', 'the most beautiful', or 'the hardest' mountain passes around to have them shown to all mad cyclists coming to punish themselves here in the south of Spain, in Andalusia. Finally we have decided to include some nice sections from Malaga Province, and only those that I like very much.
The other passes, for example, Puerto del Sol, La Mina or Muro de Comares, can be found on the web or ask local riders. These passes are not worse or less impressive, we just have too many of them to choose from!
All of our road bike routes and mountain bike trails are recorded with a Garmin, which you can rent along with your bike. All routes are also offered as a guided tour.
These bike routes are not commercial routes, but recommendations from us for your next bicycle journey in Andalusia. Please understand that we cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies in the cards, for any inconvenience occurring on the journey or for the quality of routes marked on the map. It is your responsibility to maintain and take proper care of the rented bicycle, to return it in the same condition as at the time of rental and to follow all the applicable rules and regulations for traffic and road safety. The decision of which route you want to travel and what attractions you wish to visit is solely yours.
We are very grateful for all of your suggestions to improve our bike routes in the future!
We also ask you to remember that we do not provide return service in the event of flat tires or other damage to the bike, and you will need to return the damaged parts or bike independently to our shop. To protect yourself against tire punctures, we offer for purchase emergency tools that will allow you to continue driving after getting a flat tire.
In Maps & Information you can find further material like province maps, practical guides, cultural guides and more for your cycling vacations in Andalusia.
