We currently operate all bike rentals and tours from the same location in Málaga as always. Our mountain bikes are part of the same fleet and operation we have been running here for years, maintained, prepared and handed over by the same local team. Nothing has changed physically, only the booking process has evolved.
Mountain bike rentals are now organised and booked through our sister project, Escapada Cycling – escapadacycling.com
Why this change
While bike2malaga and Escapada Cycling operate as part of the same company and team, we are now organising our projects more clearly around different cycling interests. bike2malaga is increasingly focusing on road cycling, gravel riding and triathlon-oriented performance, while Escapada Cycling brings together e-bikes, trekking bikes and mountain bikes, focusing on cycling as a travel experience and adventure through routes and journeys. This clearer separation also allows each project to gradually develop its own space and focus over time.
Our mountain bike rental fleet
Our mountain bike fleet remains part of the same operation in Málaga. These bikes continue to be used, serviced and managed locally, exactly as before. All relevant information related to mountain biking – including routes, tours and travel-style experiences – is now brought together on Escapada Cycling, where these experiences are placed in a broader cycling travel context, day adventures and route-based exploration.
Booking & pickup summary
Mountain bikes are now booked via Escapada Cycling and picked up from the same Málaga location as always (actual bike2malaga location).
Through Escapada Cycling, we also offer mountain bike and e-mtb tours, and this is where you can find curated mountain bike routes as well.
