Welcome to Málaga – let’s find the right bike for your ride
We’ve been renting trekking bikes in Málaga for years – and we continue to do so today, from the same location and with the same local team. There’s just been a small change in how trekking bike rentals are organised online – they are now presented and booked through our sister project Escapada Cycling, dedicated to cycling travel and discovery.
Why this change
To make it easier for travellers to find the right bike and experience for their stay, we are now organising our cycling offer more clearly online.
Escapada Cycling brings together trekking bikes, e-bikes and mountain bikes, focusing on cycling as travel, enjoyment and everyday exploration. bike2malaga continues to develop its focus on road cycling, gravel riding and performance-oriented experiences.
Trekking bikes naturally belong together with discovery rides, cycling travel and everyday exploration – and that’s exactly what our sister project Escapada Cycling is dedicated to.
Nothing has changed on the ground
At the moment, we continue to operate all bike rentals from our long-standing Málaga base. Our trekking bikes are prepared, maintained and handed over by the same local team, from the same familiar location, using the same fleet you’ve always known.
Nothing has changed physically – only the way information and booking are organised online.
bike2malaga vs Escapada Cycling
At this stage, bike2malaga and Escapada Cycling operate as part of the same company and team, while we organise our projects more clearly around different cycling interests.
If you’re looking for trekking bikes, e-bikes, MTBs и cycling experiences focused on travel and discovery, you’ll now find those on Escapada Cycling.
If you’re looking for road or gravel bikes with a sport or performance focus, those remain available here on bike2malaga.
Trekking bikes & cycling travel
On our new platform, you’ll find complete and up-to-date information designed to help you explore Málaga by bike. This includes cycling ideas such as urban cycling in Málaga, cycle routes around Malaga, and ideas to cycling travel in Andalusia – all presented together to help you plan relaxed rides and everyday exploration. You’ll also find trekking bikes that are well suited for both city riding and longer routes, along with suggested rides in Málaga, the surrounding areas and across Andalusia.
Booking & pickup
Trekking bikes are now booked via Escapada Cycling and picked up at our Málaga location – exactly where you have always collected your bikes.
