This e-bike route takes you from Malaga to the fascinating Cueva del Tesoro (Treasure Cave) in Rincón de la Victoria, with a scenic return along the coast.
Start in Malaga and head east along the N-340. You can use either the bicycle path or the right lane of the N-340, which is marked as a bicycle priority lane. After passing El Candado Marina and leaving the city behind, you'll discover a car-free hiking and cycling path, perfect for a more relaxed ride along the coast.
Continue cycling eastward through La Cala del Moral until you reach Rincón de la Victoria. Here, follow the signs to Cueva del Tesoro, located in the eastern part of town. The cave is one of only three known marine caves in the world and is rich in geological and historical interest.
Take time to visit and explore the Cueva del Tesoro. Guided tours are available and highly recommended to fully appreciate the cave's features and legends.
For your return journey, head back to Málaga via the coastal car-free route, which offers beautiful sea views and a peaceful ride.
