E-Bike route description

E-bike route to Almogía: e-bike route to the inland villages of Málaga

Discover Almogía, a traditional village typical of the Málaga region, sitting at an altitude of around 350 meters and rarely frequented by tourists. This charming village is known for its natural beauty and rich historical heritage, featuring winding streets, traditional Andalusian architecture, and the 16th-century church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción as its centerpiece.

Start your ride west on Calle Mármoles, continuing straight until you leave Málaga city and pass through Puerto de la Torre. From here, follow the A-7075 road, where you'll begin a gradual ascent as you approach the foothills of the Montes de Málaga.

After crossing the junction with the MA-3404, the climb intensifies as you wind your way up towards Almogía. The route offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside and distant mountains. Upon reaching Almogia, take time to explore its narrow streets, visit its historic church, and enjoy traditional tapas or lunch in one of the village's local restaurants.

For the return journey, retrace your route back to Malaga. Don't forget to take the small route down to Casasola – so you will join the A-7075 on other side of lake Casasola. You'll enjoy a mostly downhill ride of about 25km, offering a relaxed and scenic conclusion to your e-bike adventure.

This route provides a perfect blend of natural beauty, cultural exploration, and e-biking enjoyment, showcasing the diverse landscapes of the Malaga province.
