Road bike route description

A soft round trip through Axarquia region. You will get any initial 35 km of flat coastal road to warm up, then some steady climbs and returning through the same coastal road.

You go from city center through street Paseo Maritimo P. R. Picasso and keep on through one-way till you meet MA-24. You have to share almost 2 km of this busy road then turn right for coastal one N-340. Continue to Torre del Mar where you have to turn left for Velez-Malaga. Through A-356 keep direction Riogordo and turn for Benamocarra. You are on MA-3116/3115/3118/3202 going through Benamocarra / Iznate / Cajiz back to the shoreline. There is a steady climb with 2 kicks starting before Benamocarra and finishing behind Iznate. Then you descent any 10 km along Cajiz to coast having amazing views.

To go back turn right and keep N-340 again untill you meet MA-24. Having shared almost 2 km go left for El Palo and Malaga.
